PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE FOR PERFORMANCE OF INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICITY TRADING ACTIVITY - “Axpo BH” d.o.o., Mostar Print


Legal person “Axpo BH” d.o.o., Mostar is interested to continue performing the international electricity trading activity which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a license. The applicant is a holder of the five-year licence for performance of the international electricity trading activity which is valid until 21 November 2024.

The Company was founded at the end of July 2012 with the seat in Sarajevo. From the middle of November 2019, the Company runs its business operations at the address Kralja Petra Krešimira IV, bb – Rondo lamela IV in Mostar. The founder of the subject of entry is “Axpo Solutionsˮ AG (the former “Axpo Tradingˮ AG/EGL AG) Switzerland.

The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the license. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.

These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BIH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission a request in writing no later than 27 August 2024. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
