The State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) established the completeness of the applications for the issuance of licenses for international trade in electricity filed by the following applicants:

-       JP "Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosne" d.d. Mostar

-       MH "Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske" – Parent Company a.d. Trebinje

SERC had previously received the applications for the issuance of licenses for performance of the activity of international trade in electricity, assessed the completeness thereof and, pursuant to Article 8 of the Licensing Rule,  informed the applicants accordingly.

The applicants are obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of licenses.

The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file a written request with the SERC no later than 7 September 2017. Intervener status may be granted by SERC to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for the issuance of the license, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the license. The role and responsibility of the intervener are specified by Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.

By 7 September 2017, the public will have an opportunity to have an insight into individual documents from the applications at the SERC premises  or submit written comments on the applications at the SERC address (Tuzla, Đorđa Mihajlovića 4/II, fax: 035/302-077; email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. After the verification of data, documents or information enclosed to the application and the evaluation of comments provided by the public on a summary of the application, SERC will advise if it is necessary to hold a public hearing before a recommendation on a draft license or a proposal not to issue a license is prepared. The recommendation on a draft license or the proposal not to issue a license and further proceedings will be conducted pursuant to the Licensing Rule.
