PUBLIC NOTICE ON FORMAL HEARING Print

Pursuant to its competences as defined by law, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) will conduct the proceedings for setting of tariffs for the electricity transmission services. 

Based on the application of Elektroprenos Bosne i Hercegovine a.d. Banja Luka (Company for Transmission of Electric Power), that is, on the currently available data as well as those to be obtained during the tariff proceedings, revenues and expenditures as well as costs to be included by this regulated entity in the tariffs for its services will be determined.

Tariff proceedings shall ensure that the approved tariffs are based on estimations which meet general tariff setting principles and the criteria as laid down by the Law on Transmission, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tariff pricing methodology for services of electricity transmission, operation of independent system operator and ancillary services and other rules and regulations.

The State Electricity Regulatory Commission informs all interested parties that until 9 December 2016 they have an opportunity to gain access to the complete documentation at the SERC premises and send comments in writing regarding the subject of the proceedings to the SERC address (Tuzla, Đ. The application, that is, the data available in the tariff setting proceedings, will be accessible on the SERC website www.derk.ba.

The key facts in the tariff proceedings will be determined at a formal hearing to be held on Tuesday, 27 December 2016, starting at 12:00 hrs in the Congress Hall of the Tuzla Hotel in Tuzla.

The formal hearing is open to the public but the parties present representing the public may not give any comments. The parties who are interested to participate in the formal hearing procedure in the capacity of interveners have to submit their requests in writing no later than 9 December 2016. The intervener status may be granted to a party that provides evidence of direct interest in the tariff proceedings which differs from the general public interest.
