The State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) informs all interested parties that a Draft of Connection Rules will be made available to the public on Wednesday, 27 April 2016.

The Connection Rules define the procedure of issuance of conditions for connection of the user, development of surveys, connection fees to be paid by the users, the grounds of contractual relationships between the transmission network users and Elektroprenos BiH (Transmission Company), and the procedure for issuance of approval of connection.

The Rules essentially keep the procedures, concepts and solutions as defined by the Connection Rules in 2008 with subsequent amendments, but also harmonise them with the present practice, or supplement them following the initiatives launched in order to improve the space for more efficient implementation of power infrastructure projects to which this regulation is of utmost importance.

Interested persons may obtain the prepared Draft at the SERC seat free of charge, or may take it over in the electronic form from the web site: www.derk.ba.

Verbal and written comments may be presented at the public hearing, which will take place at the SERC seat in Tuzla, Miška Jovanovića 4/II, on Thursday, 5 May 2016 at 12:00 hrs.

SERC will also consider written comments received no later than 20 May 2016 at the SERC address.
